Thus they are regularly appointed as experts by the judiciary, for example by the Dutch Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Appointments also take place by various Chambers of Commerce and the Dutch Arbitration Institute. As experts they are registered with the respective registers, such as the Dutch National Register of Legal Experts and DIX, the experts’ register of and for the judiciary for civil and administrative judicial procedures.
For the Dutch Enterprise Chamber, Sman Business Value has carried out valuations within the framework of various sizable buy-out procedures, such as Gucci Group N.V. (turnover: € 4.9 billion), and IFCO Systems N.V. (turnover: € 1.0 billion). Furthermore, Sman Business Value consults twelve lawyers’ agencies on the procedure carried out by the Dutch Enterprise Chamber with regard to indemnification of expropriated holders of shares and bondholders of SNS REAAL.
