Since a few years, Sman Business Value supports special Dutch ensembles that know how to bring renowned and less renowned classical repertoire in a distinguishing way.
In collaboration with the “Nieuw Kamerorkest” (New Chamber Music Orchestra), the Holland Baroque Society, Eric Vloeimans and The Carel Krayenhof Ensemble, we organised inspiring concerts at special locations throughout the past years. We were for instance able to welcome our business relationships in the “Beurs van Berlage” (former Berlage Stock Exchange) in Amsterdam, de “Grote Kerk” (capital church) in Naarden, and Felix Meritis Society in Amsterdam.
For our organisation, this support is a way to show that we attach value to inspiring cultural activities. To initiatives of people who know how to organise something special.
This year the concert marked the 25th anniversary of Sman Business Value. We were able to organise an exceptionally attractive concert program in the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. Together with our business relationships we enjoyed a virtuoso performance of The Rosenberg Trio with soloists Tim Kliphuis (violin) and Johnny Rosenberg (vocals). The Rosenberg Trio is regarded by many as the leading ensemble in the musical genre of gypsy jazz. As an extra dimension, Dutch author Peter Buwalda gave us a short introduction to the Rosenberg Trio and the tradition of gypsy jazz.
